Labor Market Effects of State Universities in Turkey

چکیده
Yükseköğretim, ülkelerin bölgesel kalkınmasında önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Yükseköğretimin temel kurumları olan üniversiteler, bilgi transferi ve harcamaları yoluyla dışsallıklar yaratabilirler. Bu dışsallıklar, farklı kanallar aracılığıyla kalkınmayı artırmaktadır. makale özellikle işgücü piyasası kanalını ele almakta Türkiye’deki yerel üniversiteler ile performansları arasındaki ilişkiye odaklanmaktadır. amaçla Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu tarafından yürütülen 2006 Hanehalkı İşgücü Araştırması mikro verileri Öğrenci Seçme Yerleştirme Merkezi istatistikleri kullanılmış logit regresyon modelleri ampirik analizler yapılmıştır. Yerel üniversitelerin hem varlığı de nitelikleri işgücüne katılım arasında pozitif ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Artan katılımının uzun vadede daha yüksek gelire gelişmiş kalkınmaya yol açması beklenmektedir.
